Siege of Narbonne (752–759)
The Muslim settlements that occupied the other side of the Pyrenees between 718 and 755, particularly around Narbonne, along with the existence of several minor treatises, meant, according to the chroniclers of the time, that the intention of the new arrivals was to remain permanently.
